We empower employees to reach new heights in their careers by providing a dynamic culture focused on social connection, professional development, and employee recognition initiatives.What you'll do:Our rapidly growing Product & Design organization is looking for an experienced, highly creative Senior UX Product Designer who is tuned in to futures trading and/or has a love for crypto, trading derivatives, etc. You'll play a critical design role, responsible for concepting and designing the newest features and products for our award-winning trading platform.You are:A data-driven design practitioner with strong ideation skills, design thinking, and a passion for creating delightful user experiences.A collaborative powerhouse that thrives in an innovative, energetic, team environment and is skilled at turning insights into experience.A bridge builder who excels at connecting the dots between design, data, client feedback, user needs, business goals, product strategy, and engineering.A driven, always-learning team player who is excited about the opportunity to make an impact on the trading industry and design great products.Local to Chicago, like to work at home Mondays and Fridays and at our fun, downtown office.As a Senior UX Product Designer at NinjaTrader, you will use your extensive experience and best practices to drive, create, and deliver impactful UI and UX across a variety of products and services. You will help differentiate our offerings and delight our clients. Your experience working as part of a product-driven, agile culture and organization will lend to your success in this role.Be part of a team, organization, and culture that operates in a product-driven, agile method, with a focus on research and client feedback.Collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders in a team environment.Design software and website user interfaces and experiences for mobile, web, and desktop.Work closely with Product Management to gain insights from client research; and use this data as a guiding force in design, with the goal of continually elevating the client experience.Lead the design of products through the creation of wireframes & mockups, and iterate based on stakeholder and client feedback.Research to uncover and understand user needs, goals, and behaviors and translate them into thoughtful user-centric products and features.Learn about organization goals and technical capabilities to apply to designs.Research competitive and cutting-edge marketplace and industry trends to identify opportunities for continued enhancements.Help develop and deliver scalable design processes, tools, and practices for governance, workflows, and documentation for sharing.Consult cross-functionally through brand visual design across the organization.What we look for:3-5 years of UX and/or UI design experience – preferably in an agency or dedicated SaaS environment.Proficient in Figma with a robust portfolio, demonstrating a range of work styles and techniques across web and desktop applications, with well-honed design skills—wireframing, prototyping, high fidelity.Proven record of leading design on advanced projects—executed with attention to detail and consistent on fundamentals.Mastery of UX design fundamentals — including clean layouts with consistent spacing, font use, white space, alignment, etc. Also, wireframing, prototyping, journey maps, user flows, and conversion-focused design.Strong conceptual thinker—can define strong new approaches to new or existing processes and continue to build on those with strong concepts.Self-motivated and able to easily execute without ample direction.Has worked with and under the bounds of robust design systems.Adaptable, empathetic, and solution-oriented.Strong leader and collaborator—can confidently work with and clearly communicate with leads, directors, and above.Ability to effectively manage workloads and technical requirements to meet deliverables within agreed timeframe.Bonus Points For:Design system creation and management experience.Illustration skills (Adobe Illustrator).Experience using front-end code, including HTML5, CSS, React, etc.Experience prototyping in Axure.Our Core Benefits Include:Hybrid Schedule with Extra Remote Flexibility (Totalling over 55% remote time).Generous PTO.7 Paid Holidays Annually + 5 Conditional Holidays Annually.1 Service Day Annually.401k with 3.5% Company Match.Life and Disability Insurance Covered 100% by NinjaTrader.Flexible Spending Accounts for Transit and Parking.We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
