Responsibilities

The Department of Radiology at the University of South Alabama (USA) in Mobile is currently recruiting for an lnterventional Radiologist. The Division of lnterventional Radiology serves USA Health University Hospital, USA Health Children's and Women's Hospital, and the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute. The two hospitals are licensed for 550 beds combined and include a Level I trauma center.

The successful candidate must have fellowship training in IR and must be Board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. A license to practice medicine in Alabama is required.

Responsibilities include clinical coverage of the angiography/interventional radiology service, instruction of medical students and residents in diagnostic radiology, angiography and interventional radiology, and the pursuit of academic interests and research. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience. We perform all aspects of IR including spinal augmentation, women's health, hepatobiliary disease, trauma, dialysis access maintenance, vascular disease and interventional oncology.
