The Opportunity

West Liberty University is seeking applications for a Program Coordinator in the Office of Graduate Studies. The position reports to the Dean of Graduate Studies and focuses on supporting current master's degrees as well as new and emerging programs. The position works closely with Program Directors and Deans to assist with administrative aspects of graduate recruitment and admissions, curriculum management, and student services. The position interfaces with the administrative systems and protocols at the departmental, college, and university levels, including the CRM, Banner, Sakai and related work flow systems and platforms. The position helps to generate and sustain a cohesive, high quality and responsive graduate community.

Primary Responsibilities

Assisting with enrollment functions for graduate programs, including recruitment, admission, orientation, student follow-up, and registration.Assisting in implementation of new graduate programs. Assists with the development of marketing strategies and creates and implements marketing and communication plans for graduate programs.Develops recruit strategies for programs with collaboration from marketing and program directors.Support recruitment through high level administrative functions, including but not limited to collection, distribution, and analysis of enrolment trends.Counseling potential and accepted students and families about academics and admissions requirements, housing, financial aid, and student life at WLU.Creating and maintaining relationships with schools, businesses, organization, professional networks, non-profits, government agencies and others to identify and cultivate academic and job opportunities.Assists with the day to day operations of the Office of Graduate Studies, including social media platforms.Serving on departmental or university committees as assigned.Some travel may be required.Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred.3+ yrs experience working in an administrative capacity in an academic program, administration, admissions support, or a field directly related is preferred.Skills/Abilities
