Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Controls Project Manager in Reno, CA. This pivotal role focuses on managing and overseeing building automation and control projects across a variety of sectors including commercial data centers, hospitals, schools, airports, and high-rise buildings. Ideal candidates will be local with a stable work history and have at least five years of experience in building automation controls.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of building automation and controls projects, from initial planning through execution and closure, ensuring projects meet time and budget constraints .Technical Expertise: Program, install, and service ALC, Allerton, DISTEC, Tridium, and Niagara systems. Ensure all systems meet specific project requirements and industry standards.Stakeholder Interaction: Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Manage and communicate timelines and project progress effectively.Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve project goals efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.Minimum of five years of experience in building automation controls.Proven track record of managing large-scale projects in data centers, hospitals, schools, or similar facilities.Strong familiarity with control systems including ALC, Allerton, Distec, Tridium, and Niagara.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
