Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time or full-time associate veterinarian with strong clinical and surgical skills to join our busy, well-established small animal practice in an affluent neighborhood near downtown Houston and the Texas Medical Center. We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate individual to join our diverse team and practice high-quality medicine.
Our hospital’s mission is to provide progressive, quality medicine and excellent customer service. We have a loyal and dedicated clientele and a practice that just keeps growing. We are well-equipped practice with modern equipment and capabilities including ultrasonography, digital radiology (including dental), surgivet anesthetic monitoring, video otoscopy, high-speed dental equipment, and in-house lab equipment.
We are a private practice and offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package. There are no weekend or after-hours emergency calls.

Applicants should have at least one year of clinical and surgical experience and have exceptional client-communication skills.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
Previous work experience as a veterinarian (at least 1 year clinical exp)
Knowledge of medical equipment and surgical procedures
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
Problem-solving skills
