They prioritize teamwork, professional growth, and maintaining strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Lead and manage multiple planning and development projects, ensuring thorough analysis and efficient execution.Team Coordination: Oversee workloads for drafting teams, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, zoning, and safety standards.Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure financial efficiency.Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to minimize impacts.Stakeholder Updates: Prepare and present regular updates and reports to clients, senior management, and regulatory bodies.Quality Control: Implement measures to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed industry standards.Business Development: Assist in preparing proposals and presentations to secure new business.Public Representation: Represent the company at public hearings and planning commission meetings as needed.
Qualifications:Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Construction Management5+ years of project management experience in civil engineering or urban planningStrong leadership and management skillsExcellent communication skillsProficiency in AutoCAD and GIS software
Preferred:
Professional Engineer (PE) LicenseAmerican Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification
