Pay: ~ +/- $31--$38/hour (Negotiable, Depending on Experience)

Our client, a respected civil engineering firm, is seeking a Planning Project Manager to lead exciting projects that make a real impact. Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Lead and manage multiple planning and development projects, ensuring thorough analysis and efficient execution. Team Coordination: Oversee workloads for drafting teams, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, zoning, and safety standards. Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure financial efficiency. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to minimize impacts. Stakeholder Updates: Prepare and present regular updates and reports to clients, senior management, and regulatory bodies. Quality Control: Implement measures to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed industry standards. Business Development: Assist in preparing proposals and presentations to secure new business. Public Representation: Represent the company at public hearings and planning commission meetings as needed.
Qualifications: Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Construction Management 5+ years of project management experience in civil engineering or urban planning Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS software
Preferred:
Professional Engineer (PE) License American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification
