Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support clients and the team in the new
Community Behavioral Health Center
with the following:
The Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) in Springfield is a
vibrant, collaborative urban setting which offers co-located mental health and substance abuse treatment to the community including urgent care, emergency services, evidence-based individual and group therapy, psychiatry, peer supports, care coordination and more using a clinical care team model.
At the
CBHC,
we aim to help people achieve and maintain optimal real-world functioning and assistance in pursuing life goals and improving interpersonal relationships.
CBHC Clinicians
are collaborating with person-centered teams of service providers to provide the Right Care, at the Right Time, at the Right Place. They provide routine and as-needed direct services in-person and via telehealth to BHN clients across the lifespan via outcome-driven, evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training and support.
CBHC Clinicians
commit to
Evidence-Based Practice
and
goal-directed care
in providing direct services to clients. They participate in clinical team meetings and supervision, continuing education, formulate collaborative treatment plans, measure progress toward set outcomes, and coordinate treatment with a multidisciplinary team.
Fostering your growth through professional development, regular clinical supervision and mentorship is one of the best parts of working at BHN.
CBHC Clinicians
receive regular training in Evidence-Based models of treatment with a Social Justice lens including CEU's.
License-eligible clinicians have twice-weekly
individual and group supervision
with a supervisor with the right credentials for you to get your license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, and even Psychologists.)
What are we looking for in an CBHC Clinician?Bilingual/bicultural candidates encouraged to apply!Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy ( required prior to start date ).Independent Licensure
OR
License-Eligible and working toward Independent Licensure ( required ).Massachusetts CANS certification ( required prior to start date ).Experience providing clinical services with children, adolescents, and/or adults ( required ).Team-based collaborative and goal-directed approach to client care ( required ).Broad knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques ( required ).Willing and able to work on-site in Springfield at least 20% of the time ( required ).Willing and able to do walk-in care and assessments of all clients, of all ages, and all diagnoses ( required ).Willing and able to follow-up with assessed clients using evidence-based treatment whenever clinically indicated for shirt term care. ( required )Internship or professional experience in an Outpatient setting ( preferred ).Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR,) telehealth platforms, PC/Windows computers, Microsoft Office programs, and email systems ( required ).All CBHC staff
must work some weekend/evening hours in order to rotate coverage to cover openings in a planned manner (flex hours, not overtime).
Clinicians at Liberty Street may be eligible for loan repayment through the
National Health Service Corps
(NHSC).
