Extension Program Coordinator I / II, 100% Grant Funded

Work with the Associate Director of the Labor School as the central coordinator for unit programming; to research, develop, modify, and teach on-line and in-person non-credit labor and employment classes and workshops.
Appraise and review current non-credit classroom labor curriculum and assess its capacity for expanding the range of on-line and in-person courses and workshops; make recommendations to modify curriculum and offerings in the Labor School. Develop syllabi and materials for non-credit Labor School classes and customized workshops to meet program goals and objectives.
Coordinate and organize public outreach events for recruitment into the Labor School's programs including conferences, webinars, and on-campus, on-line, and off-campus classes, and workshops.
Conduct regional and national research on current trends in labor education, workplaces, unions, and issues affecting workers, especially those represented by labor unions, to support the Labor School curriculum and programming.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field required for level I. Master's degree required for level II, in a related field, or in education.
Experience with labor organization and/or labor education preferred.
Experience in teaching and in curriculum development.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong administrative skills.
Computer literacy required; digital skills and/or on-line education skills a plus.
Experience working within the Canvas online platform and/or other on-line educational tools.
