The Senior Director of Finance provides strategic leadership and directs all aspects of finance for the property in accordance with company policy and state regulations.This position is onsite and requires financial leadership experience in the casino industry.

Oversee the hiring, training, development, and management of the Finance department staffServe as financial support for the facility, providing financial information and advice to department heads and leading the development of short- and long-term financial plansEstablish department standards, guidelines and objectives, and maintains other administrative processes such as budget and staffing to ensure proper planning and efficient operation of the Finance departmentOversee all financial operations of the facility, including accounting but not limited to accounting, financial analysis, compliance, purchasing and warehouse operations, gaming cage and guest services operations, and revenue auditsEstablish and maintain necessary internal controls by developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting policies and proceduresDevelop short- and long-term financial forecasts and actions to achieve the forecasts with the property leadership teamCoordinate the annual strategic planning process including the coordination of the annual operating and capital budgetManage the timely preparation and analysis of financial results by continuously reviewing and analyzing reports and details from all aspects of operationsWork with property management and departmental leadership to develop and analyze strategic plans for the facilityPrepare ad-hoc reporting and other special reporting as needed by the management team to assist in the development of conclusions/opinions for decision making purposesOversee initiatives to ensure compliance with the Company Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) Program and maintains updated knowledge of related legislationIdentify areas of improvement within the department and implements solutions accordinglyWhat you need for this role:
Financial leadership experience in the casino/gaming industryBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldExcellent financial acumen and thorough knowledge of US GAAPMust be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the MSLA required of all Gaming Establishment employees. #oceandowns
