Part-Time Employee Relations Manager Job Description: Beacon Hill is seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our client's team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for an HR professional with a strong background in employee relations and a passion for fostering a positive and compliant workplace. The Employee Relations Manager will be responsible for addressing workplace concerns, partnering with various departments to handle ethics issues, and providing coaching and support to leaders. This position is a contract role with an anticipated need through December 16 th . Key Responsibilities:
Workplace Concerns: Ensure timely and fair resolution of workplace concerns in accordance with relevant laws, company policies, and procedures.Partnerships: Collaborate with Compliance & Integrity and Legal teams to prudently handle Ethics Line issues, including partnering on investigations when appropriate.Coaching: Provide coaching to leaders on the Performance Improvement Process, offering support from start to finish, including reviewing and providing feedback on Performance Improvement Plans and ensuring appropriate follow-up.Consistency: Establish common processes, practices, and tools to ensure consistency in addressing employee relations (ER) situations.Tracking: Develop a process to track employee relations issues across the Enabling Functions to identify trends and training opportunities.Reporting: Establish a regular reporting cadence to the Enabling Functions HRBP team on the status of issues.Leadership Improvement: Make recommendations to improve leadership capabilities.
Must Haves:
Minimum of 4 years of HRBP or related experience, including at least 2 years of direct experience in Employee Relations.Strong knowledge and practical application of employment laws.Project management experience.
Additional Information:
This role requires 20-25 hours per week, with flexibility in working hours as long as they fall between 8 AM and 5 PM.The role is a 6-month contract, ending on December 16th.The position offers a hybrid working arrangement (Tuesdays and Wednesdays on site)
