Director, Clinical Programs (Clinical Improvement, Access Team)- REMOTEThis Director will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our comprehensive access management program across DaVita Kidney Care (DKC). This spans permanent access placement, CVC removal, ongoing maintenance of permanent access, and supporting access transitions.Key areas of focus:Rolling out new training, clinical pathways/protocolsProviding leadership and execution on pay for performance contractsIdentifying future opportunities in support of multi-year vision and roadmap
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Team leadership and supervisionCollaborate with OCMO leadership, CE teammates, and field to refine access management roadmapLead pilots and Nationwide initiative rolloutsBuilding on clinical vision to Identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and build business cases for initiatives to achieve goalsStrong problem-solving abilities to take complex issues, develop detailed plans, and coordinate executionLead pilots, identify key goals and metrics to align performance with success, drive on results communicate results, assess go-no go for scalePartner with Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) teams as well as the Home team to ensure alignment; front-line cross-team workflows, electronic medical record/documentation, and reportingOrganize and provide executive, management, and front-line initiatives and performance reporting and communicationIdentify new areas of opportunity with vendors to implement new clinical and risk adjustment initiatives and assist in the development and management of vendor contracts as needed
Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree Required, Masters preferredPrior experience leading a teamAt least 5 years of experience in the following areas in a healthcare setting:Dialysis experience preferredAnalytics and data analysisExtensive experience with problem solving and strategy development & alignmentHighly organized with a strong attention to detailExperience working in highly matrixed organizationAbility to work within a fast-moving work environmentExcellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
