For more information, click here .Role reports to: Global Director - Packaging Operations and Supplier ExcellenceLocation: Skillman, NJ ( Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025 .)Travel %: 10%Pay: $97,000 to $166,750What you will doThe Technical Readiness Manager is responsible for elevating the end-to-end technical readiness across the Global Packaging ecosystem internally and externally. This role will develop packaging resiliency, systems, and data quality to drive packaging executional excellence and speed to market. The ideal candidate will have experience in the personal care industry and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesImprove E2E deployment, risk management and right first-time execution across the regions and segments, from concept to commercialization, through a lens of methods optimization and digitized process enhancementsDeploy right first-time specification robustness, packaging quality requirements, operationalizing digital methods (i.e. modeling and simulation) and enhance technical documents (i.e. packaging policies, corporate specifications, SOP's etc.) across regions ensuring adherence to established standards and timelines.Lead creation of consumer fit-for-purpose test methods and modernized labs infrastructure geared towards discovery and accelerated consumer use. Enhance the current package testing protocol to better anticipate failuresDevelop and implement packaging performance metrics and scorecards. Drive operational excellence by ensuring the regions are equipped with the right data to make the right decisions at the right time - as part of the wider Digital-First agenda across R&D and KenvueTechnical resource for Injection molding, part design, mold design, decoration processes etc.Create Technical training programs to enhance the capabilities of the global Packaging teamConduct packaging spec audits and assessments to identify areas for improvementPartner with R&D Materials team and IT functions to improve the ability of the Packaging teams to deliver by year-on-year enhancements and improvements to systems, data, and effectivenessFormulate a data driven approach to shape and prioritize resources across the entire Packaging organization against the global portfolio, with an outsourcing model to manage surge capacity and seasonalityStay up to date with industry trends and best practicesWhat we are looking forRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Packaging/Plastics/Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.8 years of work experience is required.5 years of experience in packaging operations, preferably with global experience is required.Knowledge of engineering CAD modeling, FMEA, and FEA as tools to drive right first-time design specifications and failure prevention is required.Comprehensive knowledge of test methods and SOP's is required.Strong knowledge of packaging processes (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding), materials, and quality standards is required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is required.Ability to work independently and as part of a global team is required.Desired QualificationsMasters or PhD is preferred.Experience in the personal care industry preferred.What's in it for youAnnual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $97,000 to $166,750 .
