Salary for this position is $62,000-$68,000 annually

Job Summary

QSAC’s Day Habilitation Program is Hiring! If you are an energetic and dedicated clinical professional who has a passion for making a difference in the lives of people with autism, then we would like to hear from you. The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for training, guiding and supervising Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS)/QIDPs in QSAC Day Habilitation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Behavior Intervention Assessment & Analysis

Make recommendations to Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS) for clinical interventionsCollaborate with Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS)/QIDPs to conduct functional behavior assessments.Work with BIS’s to develop behavior support plans and data collection systems.Review day habilitation plans, behavior support plans, goals, and progress notes.Participate in the Life Plan process and goal developmentReview and maintain documentation and provide reports to supervisorsTraining & Support

Train, guide and supervise staff in using the principles of Applied Behavior AnalysisAssist BIS/QIDPs in conducting in conducting –service trainingDevelop training protocols and provide staff training across all sitesProvide training and support to BIS/QIDPs for development of proactive and reactive strategies/SCIP-R interventions and implementation/documentationTravel across all Day Hab sites in assigned region, at times traveling to sites outside of the regionEnsure health, safety & welfare of individualsCommitment to company values and adherence to policiesMaintain individual and family confidentialityEnsure health, safety, and welfare of individualsPunctuality and regular attendance is expectedPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior managementComplete required two-day orientationQualifications and Work Experience

Master’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field is requiredBCBA highly preferred3-5 years professional/clinical work experience, requiredMinimum of two years’ experience either working directly with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and/or adults with intellectual & psychiatric disorders or supervising Behavior Intervention Specialists, lead teachers, supervisors, consultants and/or equivalent position is required2 years management experience, requiredKnowledge and experience in the development of data-based curriculum goals and the ability to develop behavior intervention plans based on functions of behaviorKnowledge of federal, state and local regulatory requirements.Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, problem-solving and communications skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionKnowledge and experience conducting parent/family/caregiver/staff trainingMust be proficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelMust be able to travel across multiple QSAC sitesAbility to communicate effectively with others and individuals servedAbility to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb itemsMission
