Job Summary
QSAC is looking for dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) to support our Residential and Day Habilitation programs providing services to people with autism in Manhattan, Queens and Long Island. Current NY State RN license is required and OPWDD knowledge and experience is highly preferred.
The salary range for this position is $42.00-$44.00 an hour
QSAC has flexible schedules for part-time (PT) and full-time (FT) RN's!
Responsibilities
Health & Administration
Oversee general health issues for people with autism in Residential programs or day programsMonitor medication and medical records for people receiving servicesConsult with MD's to ensure optimal medical treatments are provided to people being supportedSupervise direct support professional (DSP) staff administration of medication to people receiving servicesEnsures medical follow up (i.e. appt.’s, labs obtain prescribed medication, etc.) occurs in a timely mannerEnsures individuals are receiving prescribed medicationsMaintains medical recordsAttends internal team meetings as scheduledQualifications & Work Experience
Vaccination required1-2 years RN experience highly preferredValid NYS RN license in good standing requiredMission
