Job Overview

The Manager of Supply Chain Analytics will focus on our NAC Distribution business sector. This individual will monitor and expedite the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.

The Manager needs to communicate simply and concisely with other functions in the end-to-end supply chain. This person is responsible for Coordinating with procurement, sales, operations, customer service, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. They identify bottlenecks or problem areas and escalate and propose solutions.

They analyze demand forecasts, compare the forecasted demand to existing inventory, and coordinate the supply chain activities needed to meet that demand. This person has the analytic skills to recommend and set planning parameters in MRP systems (M3, SAP, etc.) that guide the planning function. With the Director of Supply Chain, this person provides the insight and structure needed to optimize inventory for this distribution company.

Minimum Qualifications:

10+ years' experience in planning analytics.Extensive systems and analytics experience.Deep understanding of ERP/MRP systems and SalesForce software.Strong verbal and written communications with all levels of leadership and across all functions.15%+ travel may be requiredPreferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Statistics or Operations Management.Distribution industry experience a plus.Hands-on experience as a demand/supply planner.Experience with S&OP meetings.Chemical manufacturing, distribution, and processing industry experience a plus.Job Responsibilities:

Be a thought leader with Supply Chain management by identifying issues and opportunities, analyzing data, recommending solutions and planning parameters.Analyze data and provide insight that supports supply chain strategies to effectively control inventory levels and costs while maintaining adequate stock levels.Lead the design, coding, testing and implementation of business intelligence reports.Communicate in terms of solutions or project goal terms.Provide leadership for work groups in areas of specialization.Refine all aspects of forecasting management, reducing working capital and minimizing aging and obsolete inventory.Provide leadership and meaningful analytic insight to the Sales and Operations process (S&OP).Identify the root cause of inventory disruptions and propose ways to manage/improve open orders, aging and obsolete inventory, back-orders, etc.); track impact over time.Guide the continuous improvement in planning parameters including but not limited to Segment Differentiation and "Min-Max" inventory programs.Develop or amend procedures to address recurring non-conformances (NCR's) related to supply chain and logistics issues and review on a regular basis.Actively participate in the NCR program, leading resolution of NCR's associated with the supply chain, logistics providers or warehouse service providers
