Position SummaryExperience working with economically disadvantaged youth and strong commitment to the goals of the Talent Search project. This position will recruit , select, and orientate potential program participants. This position will assist in the development /implementation of program objectives, participate in the selection/evaluation of program staff.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies* Practical knowledge of students who are first-generation students, and low-income students* Evidence of the ability to communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders, such as students, faculty, staff, administrators, and external entities.* Evidence of the ability to work in a collaborative atmosphere* Evidence of excellent written, oral, and/or visual communication skills* Flexibility to work during peak program/summer hours, including some nights and weekends* Microsoft Office 2000
