Job Description
Will offer creative interventions and develop ongoing programming for our Behavioral Health staff. Will offer supervision and training to our staff on wellness and self - care
Support behavioral Health Services preventative and proactive staff wellness approach (including wellness events, wellness rounds and emotional debriefs)Facilitate Violence Prevention trainings such as Preventing and Managing Crisis Situations (PMCS) trainings with Behavioral Health Services and eventually facility wide PMCS trainings.Provide wellness outreach calls to staff on leave or with extended absencesMinimum Qualifications1. A valid License issued by the New York State Education Department to practice as aCreative Arts Therapist; and2. Two years of full-time, paid, professional experience in creative arts therapy.
