MLR is partnering with a respected healthcare system to fill a Full-Time Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) position. This role is crucial for diagnosing sleep disorders and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct overnight, daytime, and home sleep studies (polysomnography) in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.Monitor and record brain activity, muscle movement, and vital signs to assess sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy.Calibrate and maintain sleep study equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate data collection.Score and analyze sleep data, creating comprehensive reports for review by a physician or sleep specialist.CPSGT - Certified Polysomnographic Technologist Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.Certification as a Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Experience with sleep study equipment and software, along with familiarity with sleep disorder treatments.Benefits:
