About the Position

Countryside Veterinary Clinic and East Hills Veterinary Clinic are each looking for a compassionate veterinarian to help grow our thriving practices! All levels of experience will be considered, but the ideal candidate will be friendly, personable, a team player, and a couple years of experience. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a heavy and interesting surgical case load.

Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problemsTreat and dress woundsPerform surgery on animalsTest for and vaccinate against diseasesOperate medical equipment, such as x-ray machinesAdvise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatmentsPrescribe medicationWork closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality careQualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree requiredLicensure in the state/s candidate will be workingAbility to show compassion to both pets and their ownersOutstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasksAbility to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animalStrong fondness and understanding of animalsGood communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of animal behaviorAbility to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
