Senior Director of HR
for our client partner in
Dallas, Texas . The Senior Director of Human Resources is a confident and assertive leader, driving the strategic direction and daily operations of the HR function to ensure alignment with the company’s goals and culture. As a resourceful and self-starting professional, you will oversee all aspects of human capital management, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
: Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives, fostering a culture of performance, engagement, and innovation. Organizational Development:
Lead initiatives for organizational development, including succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning to support business growth and sustainability. Talent Acquisition & Retention:
Oversee the development and execution of recruiting strategies to attract and retain top talent. Collaborate with leadership to develop programs for employee retention and career development. Employee Relations:
Act as the senior resource for conflict resolution, employee engagement, and maintaining positive employee relations while ensuring legal compliance and promoting a healthy work environment. Compensation & Benefits:
Oversee the design and management of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure these programs are aligned with company values and market conditions to attract and retain talent. Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure HR policies and practices are compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Proactively address potential risks and lead investigations related to employee issues. Performance Management:
Drive a high-performance culture by managing performance review processes, setting expectations, and developing performance improvement initiatives. Leadership & Team Development:
Mentor and coach HR team members, providing guidance and developing HR professionals into leaders who will uphold the company’s core values. HR Technology:
Leverage HRIS systems and data analytics to drive decisions and improve HR processes. Skills and Experience
: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred). Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic HR programs that drive business outcomes. Strong understanding of HR compliance, labor laws, and employment regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Experience in managing HR technologies (e.g., HRIS, talent management systems) and leveraging data for decision-making. SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus.
