Quality Manager and lead our commitment to excellence in high-purity solvent manufacturing. You'll oversee all Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) activities, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Quality Initiatives:
Drive the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Management System across all functions.Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with Production, Operations, and Customer Service to enhance customer satisfaction.Set and Achieve Quality Goals:
Align quality objectives with company goals and monitor progress.Quality Leadership:
Serve as Management Representative for quality-related matters.Document and Train:
Maintain comprehensive records of test results and train Quality staff on documentation best practices.Budget Management:
Assist in developing and managing budgets for Quality Assurance & Control, including lab expenses and equipment needs.Safety and Compliance:
Partner with Environmental Health and Safety to ensure safety protocols and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.Equipment Management:
Oversee calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensuring ISO certification standards are met.Vendor Collaboration:
Work with Purchasing to evaluate raw materials and secure high-quality inputs at competitive prices.Team Development:
Provide regular feedback, evaluations, and opportunities for growth to your team members.Supervisory Responsibility:Lead a dedicated team of 3-6 professionals, including 1-2 supervisors, to meet and exceed company quality objectives.
Qualifications:
Required:BS or higher in Chemistry or related field5+ years of experience in Quality Control/Quality AssuranceExpertise in Process & Method Validation
Preferred:5+ years of supervisory experience in Quality Systems
