Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team in Upstate New York. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in a welcoming and supportive community setting.
Responsibilities:Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, including routine physical exams, preventive care, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions.Diagnose and treat a wide range of health issues, and refer patients to specialists when necessary.Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, preferences, and medical history.Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures to promote optimal health and wellness.Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and continuing medical education activities to enhance clinical practice and professional development.Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineActive medical license in the state of New YorkDEA registration
