A Boutique Law firm is seeking a Director of Operations who will play a pivotal role in overseeing the business functions and infrastructure of the law firm, ensuring that the firm operates efficiently, profitably, and in alignment with its strategic goals. This position involves working closely with the Owners to implement the business plan, manage financial systems, and supervise key departments to enhance productivity and support the firm's growth.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning:Collaborates with Owners to create and execute the firms Business Plan, Budget, and Strategic Calendar.Financial Oversight:Works with the firms Owners, Fractional CFO, External Bookkeeper, and Accounting Department to oversee and manage the firms financial systems. Implements the firms annual forward-looking budget and ensures its alignment with long-term goals.Technology Management:Evaluates the firm's IT needs and manages the implementation of productivity software. Oversees the configuration, integration, and operations of all technology systems, including phone systems, matter management systems, computer networks, accounting systems, and building security systems. Proposes changes to information technology vendors, software, and hardware to maintain up-to-date resources.Departmental Supervision:Supervises, manages, and mentors the Accounting, IT, Office Services, and Human Resources departments, ensuring cohesive and efficient operations across teams.Process & Workflow Optimization:In collaboration with Department Heads, designs and optimizes workflow processes and systems to maintain professional and ethical representation and ensure the firms profitability.Performance Monitoring:Monitors the day-to-day performance of key business systems and processes to ensure the achievement of monthly and annual goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Qualifications:
Significant supervisory experience in a professional services firm, with a strong background in finance, information technology, and systems management, preferably in a law firm environment.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.Strong understanding of technology and profitability trends to ensure the firm is maximizing developments in capacity and efficiency.Benefits:
