Job Title: Registered Nurse - Float Pool Job Specialty: MS/Tele Float Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Requires a valid RN license Certifications: COVID-19 Vaccine Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed); Flu Vaccine status unknown Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Job Description: - This position requires the nurse to float between units.- On-call is not required.- Weekend work is required every other weekend.- Block schedules are currently unknown.- Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 5:1.- Scrub color for RN/Allied is any color; scrubs are provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, PACU, and Maternal Child units. Case Managers are to wear business casual attire.- All travelers may be required to float between all facilities within a given state.- A communication device (i.e., cell phone, pager, etc.) will be supplied if required for the assignment. If not provided, reimbursement for work-related cell phone use is available.- 40 hours of orientation are provided.- Candidates will float within and potentially to affiliate hospitals nearby. Important Notes: - Travel compliance requires specific amount of experience, 1 year unless otherwise specified.- References covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required.- Return staff policy requires 3 months between permanent and travel roles.
