Requirements of the

:Must have an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of the accredited residency programMust have completed a Fellowship in GeriatricsMust be Board CertifiedMust have valid NY State license, CDS, DEA, and BLSUnderstanding of and passion for Community Healthcare is preferredBenefits

:The salary for this position is $210,000 - $245,000 / yrThis is a Full-time positionFederal/State Loan Repayment EligibilityGenerous Paid Time Off including your birthday (4 weeks vacation; 6 sick; 6 personal; 9 paid holidays)Contribution to 401K planFull Benefits - 100% of the cost covered for the employee, 73.5% covered for the family by the employerTerm Life InsuranceMalpractice insurance coverage under FTCAPaid continuing medical educationFlexible schedulesRelocation ReimbursementResponsibilities

Geriatrician
:The Geriatrician will provide medical care to treat, prevent, and/or diagnose illness, disease, or injury.The physician will examine or conduct tests to provide information on medical status, analyze records, reports, test results, and/or examination information to diagnose the medical condition of the patient and prescribe/administer treatment, therapy, medication, and/or vaccination.The physician will also focus on explaining procedures and discussing test results on prescribed treatments with patients and advise patients and the community concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.The physician will collaborate with non-physician providers (NP, PA, CNM, etc).The physician will perform other job-related duties as required by departmental needs/demands.Home visits and in-office visitsIf you would like to learn more about other opportunities we offer, please call our office: (607) 478 1810 or submit your Resume/CV to hr@irecruitings.com
