Controller Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's financial operationsDevelop and implement financial policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practicesPrepare and monitor the annual budget, forecasting financial results and making recommendations for improvementsConduct financial analysis and provide timely reports to the management team, highlighting key financial metrics, trends and variancesSupervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support and training as needed
Controller Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field; CPA designation is preferred5+ years of experience with accounting functions, preferably in a similar industryStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal control proceduresProficiency in financial analysis, forecasting and budgetingProven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
