LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Controller for a stable and growing manufacturing and distribution company located in the Northern suburbs of Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years experience in accounting and strong inventory experience. Salary commensurate with experience will range from $150K-$165K + up to 10% Bonus plus health, dental and vision benefits, PTO, and more.

The Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting functions of a diverse group of entities. High-level responsibilities include but are not limited to: general ledger accounting, AP, AR, treasury management, assisting with process improvements and automation.
Key Responsibilities include:
Month-end/year-end close
Financial statement preparation and analysis
Accounts receivables and payables
Bank reconciliations
Intercompany expense allocations, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and journal entries
General ledger
Assist with SALT tax filings
Assist with process improvements
Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required
8+ years of accounting experience
CPA preferred
ERP exposure, and MS Excel vlookups and pivot tables
