Summary:The Clinical Pharmacy Manager is responsible for designing, implementing and managing all pharmacy clinical programs such as drug consultations, Nutrition Support, Pharmacokinetics, Anticoagulant monitoring, Pain Management, IV to PO, Renal Dosing, and other programs as determined appropriate based on patient population and literature guidelines. Holds themselves and others accountable for completing compliance activities on time. Understands importance and expectations of compliance and makes appropriate effort to perform within those standards.
Qualifications:
BS or PharmD Degree from an accredited college or pharmacy is required4 years' experience as acute care hospital pharmacist is required. (will not be accepting candidates who have only worked in retail pharmacies.)Must have a Florida state-specific Pharmacist LicenseA consultant License (this is a state-specific thing) can be acquired within 6 months of hire.We really need a leader who is enthusiastic, empathetic with staff, and, overall, a positive influence.This department has been through a lot of leadership turnover, and they just need a strong leader to come in and help turn things around!While previous leadership is ideal, we are open to reviewing candidates without any leadership experience)Employee Benefits:
