We personalize their support, it may include coaching and careeropportunities with other personal needs such as housing, food or counseling.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented volunteer tojoin our Board of Directors as the Treasurer. The Treasurer will play a crucialrole in overseeing the financial health of our organization, ensuringcompliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and supporting the Board inmaking sound financial decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the organization’s financial planning,budgeting, and reporting·Maintain accurate financial records and ensuretimely reconciliation of accounts·Prepare and present financial statements andreports to the Board of Directors·Ensure compliance with federal, state, and localfinancial regulations·Coordinate the preparation and filing of annualtax returns and other required financial documents·Assist in the development and implementation offinancial policies and procedures·Collaborate with the fundraising team to developand monitor budgets for fundraising events and campaigns·Provide financial insights to support grantapplications and donor communicationsQualifications·Experience in accounting, finance, or a relatedfield (CPA or equivalent preferred)·Familiarity with nonprofit financial managementand accounting practices·Strong organizational skills and attention todetail·Ability to communicate financial informationclearly to non-financial stakeholders·Commitment to the mission and values ofHireLiving, Inc.Contact·Cindy Jones | cindy@hireliving.org | 404-626-3422call/text
