is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our client's team. This location has all the appeal of small-town living and has extremely easy access to all the offerings of metropolitan activities. We are looking for someone who is cross-trained in CT and Nuclear Medicine. We have a special opening for just the right Nuclear Tech and would love to discuss the unique job duties of this position. Nuclear Medical Tech Training & Education:Associate's Degree required. (Requires successful completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program.ARRT or NMTCB certificationIllinois State Nuclear Medicine Technologist license.BLS certificateNuclear Medical Tech Job Duties:

Conduct quality control checks on cameras and equipment in the nuclear lab to ensure they are functioning correctly.Receive, monitor, and document radiopharmaceuticals daily, and input the information into the Nuclear Medicine Inventory System (NMIS).Inspect, measure, and record radiopharmaceuticals before patient administration.Clearly and courteously explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and answering any questions to alleviate their anxieties.Prepare and administer intravenous radiopharmaceuticals to patients.Perform nuclear imaging procedures safely, accurately, and promptly, following the guidelines outlined in the Nuclear Medicine Procedure Manual.Maintain a clean and secure work environment.

Provide nuclear imaging to patients in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner. Comply with all State, NRC, ICANL requirements, and follow all procedures outlined in the Nuclear Medicine Procedure Manual.
