Hub Plant Manager

PositionSummary: The Hub Plant Manager will directly manageproduction and maintenance teams on a daily basis to ensure safe &efficient plant operations. Additionally the Hub Plant Manager will bedirectly responsible for safety, quality, and regulatory requirements as theyrelate to personnel and the plant. The Hub Plant Manager willalso be responsible for measuring operational efficiency and monitoringstaffing needs to ensure the plant operates safely and efficiently.Position Accountabilities - Provideleadership in safety and quality under Matheson's corporate guidelines anddirectives - Serve as front line supervisor for plant production team - Provideresponse and reporting to the Regional General Manager regarding customerissues related to production. - Demonstrate and maintain a high level ofcustomer focus, and customer commitment and ensure plant personnel demonstrateand maintain the same. - Track and control all plant expenses to ensure monthlyand annual corporate goals are achieved - Develop and lead plant projects,control their schedule, and manage expenses to ensure projects are completed ontime and within budget. - Work directly with other Matheson locations to ensurethe efficient use of corporate assets - Work directly with corporate managementfor the procurement of assets - Develop and update contingency and emergencyplans - Provide training in the areas of safety, quality, processes, andprocedures - Manage plant vendors and contractors - Maintain clear thinking andprofessional composure in high pressure situationsRequiredExperience - Experience with principles and operation ofmechanical equipment such as pumps and compressors. - Experience with readingand understanding flow diagrams and P&ID's - 5+ Years plant, production,manufacturing, or equivalent experience - 5+ Years of management experiencewith team of 10 or more - Experience in industrial gas filling or productionpreferred Education & Skills - Bachelor's degree, inengineering or other technical degree preferred - Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Matheson is an Equal Opportunity Employerthat complies with the laws and regulations set forth under EEOC..
