Quality Manager - Post Market
Stryker is hiring a Quality Manager - Post Market in Flower Mound, TX! As part of the Endoscopy Quality team, customers and patients are at the heart of everything we do. Our Quality Leaders maintain our brand of high-quality products.
What you will do:
Build a strong customer centric engineering team which resolves field issues and changes products to improve quality.
Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops Quality Engineering staff; manages schedules and workflow.
Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
Communicates frequently and effectively to Customers, Sales Representatives, Management and stakeholders.
Coordinates with other managers and associates to identify critical success factors, develop measurement systems, and implement continuous process improvement methodologies.
Ensure, track, and report on the quality and reliability of released products.
Review engineering changes to products via the internal change control system.
Responsible for overseeing complaint handling, MDR-MDV reporting and product field action decisions.
Review and evaluate processes and services to address quality system and product deficiencies and formulate improvements.
Serve as a subject matter expert on domestic and international regulations and standards, such as QSR and ISO 13485.
What you need:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related field.
8+ years’ experience in Quality, Engineering, or regulated environment
2+ years supervisory experience.
Preferred:
Master’s degree.
Leadership skills with demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.
Experience in post market quality engineering / customer engineering or relevant field.
Strong problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze complex data and information.
Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices associated with establishing and maintaining a Quality Systems determined by regulations and standards.
Quality Engineer Certification.
