has partnered with a leading Utility Construction Company located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, seeking a Assistant Controller.

Location:

Conshohocken, PASalary : $90k -$110k

Responsibilities:- Uphold and document accounting policies and procedures.- Manage the accounting department's operations and organizational structure.- Ensure controls are in place for accounting transactions.- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and Work In Progress (WIP) reports with the Division Vice President.- Analyze the company's financial performance regularly.- Collaborate with Project Managers to review monthly cost reports, providing insights on variances and potential cost issues.- Support the job close-out process, ensuring all billings are finalized and accurate.- Assemble and evaluate financial reporting packages.- Formulate monthly and yearly operating budgets.- Implement and oversee financial controls as per company guidelines.- Report key financial indicators to senior management.- Lead and assist the job costing, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable teams.- Manage cash flow by ensuring timely and accurate billing in line with contract requirements.- Coordinate with the Area Supervisor to track necessary subcontractor documentation and withhold payments until compliance is achieved.

Qualifications:-Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controllership role within the construction industry is essential.- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.- Proficient in computer software including Word, Excel, Access, etc.- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.- Independent, self-motivated, and proactive.
