Hutchinson Pet Hospital, a CareVet partner, is looking for a part time or full time Veterinarian to join our thriving AAHA accredited hospital in Hutchinson, MN. This position is currently offering a generous $150k bonus package, six figure base salary plus production, paid parental leave, student loan support, and schedule flexibility.

Our hospital is a full-service companion animal practice that has been serving the local community for 35 years. We are AAHA accredited and have a great group of staff members that take pride in providing excellent service at our busy hospital. Our staff is Fear Free certified, and all our technicians are credentialed. Our team works hard to support and educate our clients as their experience at our hospital is one of our top priorities.
About the Hospital
We are fully equipped with state-of -the-art in-house lab equipment, ultrasound, digital radiography, dental equipment, digital dental radiography, therapy and surgical laser, Isoflurane anesthesia and more. Keep your practice general or concentrate on medicine, surgery, dentistry, or something else! We will nurture any interest you have in the field. We have easy access to board certified radiologists, dermatologist, and surgeons within our practice.

Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problemsTreat and dress woundsPerform surgery on animalsTest for and vaccinate against diseasesOperate medical equipment, such as x-ray machinesAdvise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatmentsPrescribe medicationWork closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality careQualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree requiredLicensure in the state/s candidate will be workingAbility to show compassion to both pets and their ownersOutstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasksAbility to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animalStrong fondness and understanding of animalsGood communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of animal behaviorAbility to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
