Career Elevation and Technology Center

The Career Elevation and Technology Center (CETC) is the Career and Technical Education (CTE) center for the St. Vrain School District and is one of eight CTE centers in the state of Colorado. CETC offers classes that provide real-world, hands-on experiences in pathways that are high-wage, high-growth, high-demand, and with a post-secondary trajectory. These pathways provide students with opportunities to acquire knowledge and skills linked with specific post-secondary programs leading to a two-year or four-year degree, and provide students industry certifications giving them a jump start in their careers.

This is a student worker position for our CETC "Sunset Automotive" Project Team which runs after school. The team will typically meet 2x/week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for approximately 3 hours. We are excited to begin this year's afterschool project team which has developed into a self funded school based enterprise. A majority of the work will be focused on diagnostics and repairs for "A Woman's Work" foundation - a non-profit which provides support and resources for women and families, as well as other outside work for the SVVSD community. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how to run a shop and serve your community.

St. Vrain Valley Schools values the health and well-being of its employees and seeks to establish and maintain a culture of health and wellness that encourages and supports healthy behaviors, a sense of community and an improved quality of life. As part of that commitment, the district offers a choice of medical plans and access to comprehensive wellness programming.
