Job Summary:
As a Surveillance Technician, you will support the overall integrity of gaming as well as the protection of all guests, employees, and Company assets.
Essential Functions:Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphereEnthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relationsMonitor the overall integrity of the video and access control network, server deployment, security, and connectivity throughout the LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure.Assist in the design, deployment, and installation of video and access control infrastructure, fringe device upgrades, additions, and expansionsPerform maintenance, repairs, and replacements of cameras, servers, desktop workstations, printers, routers, encoders, switches, archivers, storage arrays, and fringe devices such as cameras, access control hardware, cabling, and handheld radio unitsAdvise and assist in the procurement of new hardwareRoll out new software installs/patchesMonitor the performance of the video and access control networkAssist in a preventative maintenance program to mitigate technical equipment failure-related risksManage static stock inventory of technical equipment and suppliesManage and maintain the facility radio systemAssist with the surveillance systems user training program of surveillance supervisors and operatorsComply with confidentiality regulations regarding all surveillance information, including camera coverage, investigations, and proprietary materialPerform duties as surveillance operator as neededProtect the overall integrity of gaming at the casinoAll other duties as assignedQualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or olderMust be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming BoardMust be a high school graduate or equivalentMust have above-average math skillsMust have strong organizational and decision-making abilitiesMust have excellent customer and employee relations skillsMust have excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holidayPhysical Requirements:
Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of timeFrequently required to define colorOccasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet highFrequently required to lift items up to 25 poundsFrequently required to reach overheadOccasionally required to work in confined, small areas for long periods of timeEnvironmental Working Conditions:
The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
