Summary:
The Quality Control Technician performs inspection, documentation, and reporting to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's production.What You'll Do:Performs audits on assembled products using precise procedures.Conducts inspections on productions to maintain a consistent level of quality.Responsible for reporting quality to production and leadership.Assists quality team and leads in evaluating product quality using standards and inspection requirements.Educate and coach the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.Assist in training new hires and other team members as necessary.Support leadership with investigating product defects and quality issues.Collaborates with managers to identify ways to improve efficiency; and help implement actions.Assists managers with related duties as assigned.Who You Are:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.Basic mathematics and recordkeeping.Ability to use testing equipment.Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.Thorough understanding of manufacturing procedures, mechanics, and regulations.Visual alertness to read and convey instructions, graphics, and/or drawings.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related systems.Prolonged periods working on feet and repetitive movements.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.High school diploma or equivalent required.At least 1 year of related work experience desired.
