The Job:
The Senior Accountant provides excellent customer service both internally with team members and externally with clients and vendors. The Senior Accountant is responsible for completing a wide variety of accounting, customer service, administrative, and other project and support-related tasks.
Your main roles will include (but not be limited to):Assist with transactional accountingMonth-end close process and reportingOversight of administrative and accounting department employeesAssist with the preparation of consolidated financialsAssist with budgeting, financial planning, and cash managementDocumentation of internal controls, policies, and procedures for auditAssist auditors with PBC request list for external auditorsCustomer and vendor managementAssist with the preparation and reconciliation of payroll, payroll tax, and benefitsPerform additional functions and participate in special projects as neededWhat you have (the basics):
Property Management (Condo/HOA) experience strongly preferred.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA a plusA minimum of 3 years of experience obtained through increasingly responsible positions within the accounting and finance function, some public accounting experience is preferredExcellent GAAP accounting knowledge and consolidated financial statement preparation.Experience developing cash forecasts, and financial and operating metricsAn ability to manage complex accounting and reporting systems and processesStrong analytical skills with the ability to connect business actions with financial outcomesAdvanced knowledge of Excel, knowledge of automated financial and reporting systems, Microsoft Office products, and other tools commonly used by accounting and finance teamsExperience using NetSuite, QuickBooks, Buildium, and/or CINC is a plusWhat you have (soft traits):
