OVERVIEW:

The Insights product is an offering for Guidepoint's Institutional investment and corporate clients, that offers teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events. The teleconferences live in a transcript library portal, which covers a wide of industries/topics that enables our clients to make informed decisions. All content features experts from Guidepoint's proprietary global network and is conceptualized and hosted by former investment professionals (i.e. private equity/hedge fund), sell-side equity research analysts, and industry professionals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:Work closely with senior analysts of the Insights group to plan primary research content that will cover a wide range of subsectors within financials including payments, consumer finance, cryptocurrencies, insurance and real estateLead teleconferences as a moderator featuring expert guests from Guidepoint's network of over 1.5 million professionalsPrepare for teleconferences by reading public company SEC filings, reviewing investor presentations, monitoring news releases and analyzing Wall Street research reports.Receive rigorous ongoing training from senior analysts of Insights group on topics including industry analysis, investment research, mergers & acquisitions and leveraged buyouts.WHAT YOU HAVE:

Bachelor's degree or Master's degreeMinimum 10 years of sell-side or buy-side analyst experienceMust follow a bottoms-up, fundamental approach to investment research focusing on individual companiesHas prior experience covering single name corporate credit across both bank and high yield markets; must be proficient in corporate credit analysis, with an emphasis on Distressed creditAbility to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environmentOutgoing personality with the ability to speak with people at all professional levelsIntellectual curiosity and desire to learnEffective time management and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team; must be willing to train and mentor junior professionalsWHAT WE OFFER:

This is full-time consultant role with an expected annual salary of $150,000 - $200,000 plus variable bonus. This rate may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location.

Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
