Senior Property Accountant

Accountants One is working with a Real Estate company in the Atlanta area who is looking for a

Senior Property Accountant . This person will be supporting the Accounting Manager and interact with the Controller. The Senior Property Accountant will help mentor and develop the Property Accountants. The company continues to grow and they are promoting and adding to the team.

Responsibilities:

Interact with Property Managers on a regular basis making sure to help with research tenant leases, prepare reconciliation of tenant payment history, reports, assist with invoice codingMaintain the tenant leases in the accounting systemsComplete monthly GL close and assist with management reportPrepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly detailed workpapersPrepare OPEX revenue for annual budgetsPrepare OPEX true-up calculations and annual billingsReview of property A/P and submission of weekly check runAny special projectsRequirements:

Bachelor's in Accounting, required5+ years property or staff accounting experienceReal estate industry experience requiredMust be able to read and interpret lease verbiageAdvanced ExcelERP System experience such as Yardi or MRIHybrid work schedule
