Senior Accountant (SaaS Model)Job Overview :We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Senior Accountant

with expertise in

cash forecasting

and

revenue recognition

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, with a focus on

order-to-cash processes . This role is designed for someone ready to advance into an

Accounting Manager

role, offering significant growth potential within the company.Key Responsibilities :

Manage and execute the

cash forecasting

process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company's financial goals.Oversee the

revenue recognition process , ensuring compliance with GAAP and accounting standards.Perform

account reconciliations , including revenue, deferred revenue, and other key financial accounts.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end

financial close

processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Assist in the preparation of

financial statements , including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., IT, sales, and operations) to streamline and improve

order-to-cash processes .Review contracts

to ensure proper revenue recognition and resolve any accounting issues.Assist with

external audits , ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting regulations.Develop and maintain strong

internal controls

to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.Support and contribute to the development and implementation of

new accounting processes

and

policies .Provide support on

ad hoc financial analysis

and other projects as needed.Requirements :

3-5+ years

of accounting experience, with a focus on cash forecasting, revenue recognition, and reconciliations.Strong understanding of

GAAP

and

order-to-cash processes .SaaS industry experience

is a

huge plus .Public accounting experience

is highly valued.Knowledge of accounting software;

NetSuite

experience is preferred.Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Highly motivated,

career-oriented , and eager to learn and grow.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.BS in Accounting or Finance;

CPA

certification is a

plus .Salary :

Up to $92k base

with a

bonus . Candidates aiming for

$100k total compensation

are encouraged to apply.
