Position Details:
Role: Senior Quality Inspector
Schedule: Flexible, part-time/as needed up to full-time hours
Location: Bay Area (San Jose and surrounding areas)
Frequency: Estimated 2-3 days per week, depending on client needs and supplier schedules
Responsibilities:
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of precision-machined components at client supplier locations.
Verify paperwork and ensure all parts meet quality standards.
Collaborate with a global inspection team to ensure high-quality deliverables from suppliers.
Communicate inspection results and schedule updates clearly with clients and team members.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a quality inspection role.
Proficiency in using various inspection tools and methods.
Experience with precision-machined parts and components.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings (GD&T) and industry-standard manufacturing documentation.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Bay Area.
Must be a U.S. citizen (due to the nature of the work) and pass background checks.
