Responsibilities
Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and growComfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independentlyGrow financial performance through analysis of financial results, budget, forecasts, variances and trendsCreate recommendations for improvement and optimization to be presented to management and executivesDevelop standard unit costs for manufactured goods to include direct materials, labor and overheadEstablish cost of business processes such as administration, labor and shippingPerform analysis of product and project costs including material variances and labor efficienciesIdentify areas of concern/ opportunity and recommend corrective actionsPerform physical inventory count reconciliationsAssist in month end general ledger close and prepare journal entriesDevelop financial system improvements/ upgrades/ controlsEvaluate process deficiencies, formulate corrective action plans, and develop process improvements and/or procedural controls while leveraging systems and relationships with others within the organizationPrepared detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hocConduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysisSupport financial reviews and audits conducted by independent auditors
