Ashford (NYSE American: AINC) is a leading provider of asset management and other services to companies within the hospitality industry. Ashford's leadership has a very successful track record and many years of experience investing in and asset managing lodging real estate.
This position reports directly to the Senior Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:
Conduct cash flow analysis, return-on-investment (ROI) analysis, and financial projections for key projectsPrepare accurate, detailed monthly and quarterly reports for the Asset Management teamAnalyze key hotel metricsDevelop a solid working knowledge of the hotel and real estate industriesPrepare board materials for quarterly board meetingsGather hotel property and market due diligence dataImplement strategies in conjunction with other teamsCommunicate analysis insights to senior managementPerform other projects as assignedRequirements
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (engineering, finance, economics, mathematics, etc.)A career interest in the Real Estate or Hospitality IndustryProficiency working with complex Excel-based modelsAbility to build high-quality, attractive PowerPoint presentationsInvestigative and analytical curiosity and a desire to succeedSolid analytical skills, detail-oriented with the ability to collect, compile, and interpret dataMust be self-motivated and able to work independentlyAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of managementAbility to work as a team memberThe highest standards of integrity, honesty, and professionalism
