Job Summary

This Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support for certain members of Rooms To Go leadership and managing other tasks for the corporate office. This person will perform a variety of administrative duties providing daily support in transactional and general administrative processes to moderately complex tasks which demands a high degree of autonomy and latitude in planning, organizing, and decision making.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, events, projects and ensure appropriate documents for meetings; calendar management

Typing, formatting, editing and redacting routine documents, copying, scanning, filing, and updating paper and electronic documents required

Collection of information in a timely manner and verifying the accuracy and completeness of data submissions and forms required

Greet and assist onsite guests

Answer inbound telephone calls

Perform all other office tasks, including assistance with management of the corporate office

Experience

Bachelor's Degree

2+ years related experience

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Ability to prioritize work and able to handle a multitude of assignments

Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and copiers

Desired Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Must be a team player with a strong work ethic, and work well with others

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Strong time management skills and ability to meet changing deadlines

Strong commitment to prioritization of timelines, accuracy, organization, and professionalism

Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks with minimal oversight, but comfortable with ongoing feedback, suggestions, and design challenges

Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines
