As an Office Assistant at WeKare Medical Center, you will provide essential administrativesupport to ensure the smooth operation of the office and efficient delivery of services. You willplay a critical role in managing various office tasks, maintaining records, and supporting theadministrative staff.

Responsibilities:1. Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff, providing them with accurate informationand directing them to the appropriate personnel or department.2. Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries in a professional andtimely manner.3. Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.4. Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filingdocuments.5. Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory, ensuring availability of necessary items.6. Maintain and update electronic and paper records, including patient records, financialrecords, and other administrative documents.7. Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages.8. Assist in data entry, report generation, and basic data analysis using computer software.9. Collaborate with other departments and staff to ensure effective communication andcoordination.10. Assist in organizing and coordinating office events and activities.11. Follow office policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of sensitiveinformation.12. Handle basic billing and payment processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:•Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred.•Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.•Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).•Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.•Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals.

Professional and friendly demeanor, with excellent customer service skills.

Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in a healthcare setting is an asset.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and office procedures.
