About the job Experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Hiring Experienced Wound Care Nurse PractitionerJob DutyProvide specialized wound care treatment to patients in a medical office or clinical setting.- Assess and evaluate wounds to determine the appropriate course of treatment.- Clean and dress wounds using sterile techniques.- Monitor and document wound healing progress.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.- Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies.- Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs.- Administer medications and perform procedures such as dermal fillers, spinal taps, and phlebotomies as required.- Provide care for patients of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and adults.- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.Experience:-Must be a Nurse Practitioner- Minimum of [2] years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse or in a related field.- Proficiency in wound assessment, treatment, and documentation.- Knowledge of different wound types and appropriate interventions.- Familiarity with the use of specialized wound care products and equipment.- Experience working in a medical office, hospital, or assisted living facility preferred.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.- Knowledge of clinical research related to wound care is a plus.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
