Financial Analyst
for our premier client in
Plano, Texas .
Education and Experience "
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, PMP) is a plus.Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in financial analysis, project costing, or a related role. Experience with Earned Value Management and Scrum teams is highly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities "
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Intermediate knowledge of Excel including PowerPivot and Chart visualizations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Job Responsibilities:
Earned Value Management (EVM): Implement and maintain an EVM process to track project performance and cost variances in support of the Scrum teams.Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis and forecasting to support project budgeting and financial planning.Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis, cost performance reports, and earned value metrics.Budgeting: Assist in the development and management of project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Risk Management: Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for mitigation and optimization.Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
