The Opportunity
We are seeking an entrepreneurialTax Associateto join our firm at theAtlanta Office.
As aTax Associateyou will have strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Your primary responsibilities will consist of tax return preparation including: tax research, tax planning, and preparation of supporting work papers for various tax returns and tax related projects.
You will have the opportunity to gain a broad spectrum of knowledge working with our sophisticated client base consisting of high-net-worth individuals and companies in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing & distribution, real estate, and service and technology, as well as international businesses.
How You Will Spend Your Time
Work on individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns, including preparation of workpapersUtilize basic tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to provide clients with individualized solutionsDemonstrate the ability to efficiently identify, research, and analyze tax issuesCollaborate with your engagement team and communicate effectively with senior team membersBegin acquiring the skills necessary to develop and build quality client relationships and loyaltyDevelop an understanding of the client's industry and recognize key performance indicators, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developmentsParticipate in networking activities and maintain contact with business peersIdentify and complete other projects as assignedWho You Are
You have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Masters of Accounting or Taxation preferredYou have a major and overall minimum GPA of 3.3/4.0Ideally, you have previously gained real-world experience through a tax internshipYou have your CPA license or are looking to become CPA eligible in the near futureYou are an effective multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining work qualityYou look forward to enhancing your competencies through continued professional educationYou have exemplary written, verbal, and interpersonal skillsYou have a growth mindset that you use to solve problems and find solutionsMost importantly, you have a strong commitment to professional and client service excellenceSome of the Benefits We Offer You
