The
Senior Account Manager
is responsible for selling the company's products and services by calling on new and current customers on the
West Coast
for alcohol, beverages, confection, and pharma segments. This individual interacts with all internal Departments, external Customers, and
MANE
Affiliates. Key competencies: Project and Time Management, Professionalism and Leadership, Communication and Presentation Skills, Customer Etiquette and Relationships, Self-Management, and Adaptability
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sell company's products and services by calling on prospective and established customers. Write, develop, and present strategic account strategies to include all necessary information that will accelerate new business and grow the company. Develop sales based on existing and new contacts. Meet sales goal targets. Determine priority and effort given to each account based on sales potential and strategy. Maintain sales programs and keep customers informed about available services, prices and new products. Leverage internal relationships and competencies with customers to achieve account and territory growth. Be expert in knowing and understanding the business needs, products, and people of target accounts to best execute account strategies. Write measurable yearly goals and objectives that are aligned with senior management G&O. Represent
MANE
at related industry and associated meetings. Monitor competitive activity. Handle special tasks and projects as requested to meet company objectives. Coordinate efforts with
MANE
affiliates as needed. Mentor and develop Account Managers. Other duties as assigned by management. Every employee is expected to participate in education/training about Mane's environmental commitments and then actively apply this to job-related and job-specific roles and responsibilities. Management will support and facilitate education, training, and action within their teams to implement environmental policies, procedures, and practices effectively and adequately, as well as promote continual improvement consistent with environmental objectives. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree required with MBA or advanced technical degree desired. Minimum 8-10 years of sales experience with knowledge of selling techniques and / or strong technical/product development experience with technical support/sales experience. Strong knowledge of flavors and/or food ingredients. Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft Office and
MANE's
computer systems.
